What a successful week for the construction industry! bauma 2025, the world’s largest trade show, welcomed over 600,000 visitors to Munich over the course of seven days. Instagrid was there in force with both an indoor and an outdoor both. Live demos, interactive displays, a talk by our co-CEO and co-founder Andreas Sedlmayr, and non-stop conversations – the level of energy from both our visitors and our tireless team on-site was supercharged.
The incredible enthusiasm that people brought to our booths never failed to put a big smile on our faces. Many existing customers stopped by to tell us how our products have transformed the way they work. People discovering Instagrid for the first time were excited to learn how the construction industry is benefiting from our innovative solutions, which are bringing clean, portable, and efficient power to jobsites around the world.
The world’s most portable 400 V power solution revealed: Instagrid LINK MAX
Revealed to the public for the first time at bauma, our new portable 400 V solution Instagrid LINK MAX delivers clean 3-phase output power by combining three Instagrid ONE units – enabling flexibility for heavy-duty applications like never before.
Repeatedly hailed as “a real game-changer” in the construction industry, Instagrid LINK MAX is a truly unique product on the market. With a total weight of 65 kg, the Instagrid LINK MAX solution is significantly lighter than 400 V combustion generators and other battery-based 400 V power stations.
The heaviest individual part of the LINK MAX solution weighs only 20 kg – and the lightest 5 kg, allowing for flexibility like never before. A single worker can carry the parts by hand to the jobsite and assemble them quickly by simply connecting the cables. No additional transport machinery is needed – promising significant productivity gains to users in construction sites all over the EU.
Instagrid’s global growth
This wasn’t Instagrid’s first appearance at bauma, but we’ve come a long way in the past three years. In 2025, visitors could not just consult experts from all over Europe, but also take a look at our global product portfolio: Instagrid is now present in every European market as well as North America and Australia, offering portable power solutions in 230 V, 110 V, and 120 V to meet region- and industry-specific portable power needs.
From a 70,000 kg, world-first electric excavator to our 20 kg portable power packs, sustainable innovation was on display everywhere at bauma. This sent out a clear message, proving construction-focused industries are rethinking the way they power their world – and we’re proud to be part of that change, together with our strong forward-thinking partners.
